Michaela is an outdoor fanatic. Thus we are joyfully anticipating the coming of Spring! We have a great park (just an open field complete with a little stream and a bridge) right around the corner from us and sometimes end up there a couple times a day. Recently we've been stalking "Wobin-red-bwests," checking for "new-green" in the grassy areas, and watching a few daffodil patches that are about to burst into color. We have a lot of fun. Another favorite activity, inspired by a favorite story, is having picnics. Here are a few shots from the latest one in the back yard:
Hooray! Food always tastes better when consumed in fresh air anyway! Michaela is learning that, even at this young age...I'm sure of it!
It's not quite clear in the below photo, but I wanted to be sure to explain that M has speared a nice bit of leaf on her fork and is generously offering it to her furry sis, Bayleigh. What a girl!
