We are being so stretched (in every way!) waiting for this babe! Waiting is hard and we didn’t experience this amount with Michaela so we’re walking on a new road…of patience and trust that “His ways are higher than our ways” Isaiah 55:9. It’s been a good trek for us. We’ve had some visitors who came anticipating being helpful while I was in the hospital…but with no hospital in the picture we’ve just had fun! While my sister was here we took a family outing to the duck pond. Everyone enjoyed and the ducks were well fed.
My brother and sister-in-law will be with us through Thanksgiving, but today we had to say goodbye to our beloved Mimi (Andrew’s Mom) who came for a quick visit. Oh did we have fun with her! Michaela loved laughing, trying on new clothes, reading, and telling Mimi (over and over) “I love you!” So sweet!
We are so blessed and cared for so well. There is much for which to be thankful!!!
