I might as well post these very current photos while I only have the laptop and my SD card available to use. My SD card lives in my little point and shoot Nikon and I dump it onto the big computer every so often. The big computer is where my husband is currently editing a very nice couple's wedding video that we shot a couple weekends ago. He is still doing some part-time wedding videography for some moolah and for some fun. We get to go to weddings of complete strangers and video-document them and eat a good meal and I get to talk to other adults (photographers, DJs, servers etc.) for an entire evening. Then we come home and Andrew creates a coherent beautiful story of the day. There is a lot of editing involved which gets me right back to where I started...I can't use the computer which has all my logged pictures of May events, but I'm still going to post even though these shots are not what I had forecasted.
So...we are working on our garden (another story and yes I'm only two months late) and I decided to wear my straw hat to look more authentic. It seemed to go well with my grubby hands and clog-clad feet. But someone else also thought the straw hat was definitely worthy of her attention and desire for authenticity in the cute department. Who could it be??
Give Up?
"Well, hey y'all! I know I'm playing coy here. But how can I face the camera showing all this skin? Eee-gad!"
"OK, here's where I come clean, the whole hat-on-the-head thing was a total set up by my momma, I MUCH prefer putting hats (and everything else) in my mouth. And yes! I'm loving this sitting up business too. It's tons of fun."
Sometimes my heart is overwhelmed by how cute my children are. Like right now.
