Visiting VA

We had a wonderful weekend visit to Charlottesville almost two weeks ago! Time flies! We so enjoyed seeing familiar faces, driving on familiar streets, and let's just be honest...eating Bodo's! We're learning a lot about limitations with our little family and thus realized that there was no way we could see ALL the sweet folks who had been a part of our lives during our 5 years there. This learning curve is a huge challenge for me! I do look forward to more visits, but ultimately to heaven. We were able to have joyous reunions with a number of people, particularly with our two "host families," the Copelands and the Colbergs. Here are some highlight photos from our time:

Michaela thoroughly enjoyed reuniting with "Miss Sherry," "Unca Bull," Reede and the dynamic doggie duo of the Copeland residence. Such fun.

"Alright, Reede, we're in this together ..."

"You get the front, I'll get the back!"

"Oh, Uncle Bull, do we really get to share this lunch together?"

We had such fun on a play date with Sir Luke Manzano. He and Michaela spent a lot of time together as infants and crawlers, but this was the first time they'd had playing with their fine-tuned walking/running skills. Here they are in a more peaceful moment pondering a great truck book.
