It's almost time for my baby sister to come! One more month...whatever that means. Anyway, here's what my mom looks like.
October was a month with a lot of visiting! We went to Charlottesville as a final roadtrip before the new babe and had a beautiful long weekend. Andrew enjoyed seeing U2 at Scott Stadium and I enjoyed chatting and chatting and more chatting with dear friends! We once again realized the challenge of visiting a place you resided in for 5 years...we just couldn't see everyone we would have liked to! Heaven will be magnificent for many reasons...eternal fellowship is one thing I'm greatly looking forward to!
So much gratitude to the Colberg household. We loved staying with you all!!! Here's M as happy as a clam with her good buddy, Michael.
When we returned from VA, we had a visit from one of my YWAM friends, Ellen, who I hadn't seen since my wedding! She graced our home with much love, exuberance, encouragement, and tales from far away lands (she is from Norway, but has traveled everywhere it seems!). Michaela loved her to bits especially when Ellen decided to give the little one her first manicure. Oh the things to come! Here we all are happily playing on the floor :-)
With a Daddy as a wedding videographer, M sees a lot of bridal footage during editing sessions and thus "plays bride" often (maybe too often)...anyway Ellen decided she needed a wedding gown just her size and gifted her with this beautiful dress. THANKS ELLEN!!! Here she is doing a signature arabesque.
Our final October visit was with another old friend of mine, Suzette, who came for a delightful overnight to our house. We all enjoyed playing catch-up and once again, Michaela welcomed our visitor with open arms. Very fun!
And for some final October news...I figured if she was old enough to be curling her eyelashes she could probably get out of diapers...so we began potty training and have had joyous success. I'm a very proud Momma!!
And we're all caught up. Miracle of miracles. Thanks for sticking with us! Keep a lookout for the Baby news!!

I want to be your next visitor from a far off land!
Such a blessing reading this, Gwen. You have genuinely done an oustanding job. I love how you write and see the beauty of the Creator in everything- from mountains and landscapes, to relationships and souls: with the most beautiful thing being His grace that lavishes so abundantly. Oh, the cross. It changes everything.
Deep love and affection to you from across the pond!!
