Over this past weekend we had the delightful privilege of a Charlottesville visitor. My dear friend, Kelly, braved the travel to brave four days with us! It was such a pleasure to have her under our roof and to share life together. Michaela and Kelly have had a special bond since the early days. Kelly was not only praying outside our hospital room door when M was being born, but she was also instrumental in getting me to the hospital 9 months prior for a surgery that saved M's (and my) life. She has been/is a very faithful friend. I'm almost certain M remembered her in some capacity because Kelly seemed, almost immediately, to carry royalty status. We had a lot of fun...not doing anything extravagant, but having pajama mornings, sharing good food, taking walks, and talking...of course. It was such a joy.Oh! and she brought us 2 dozen Bodo's bagels. That definitely gave her royalty status with me and Andrew!
Here's our Sunday morning tea party....CHEERS!

Kelly played a part in introducing M to this phenom of a dog...named Tyrone no less! (Oct.2009)
WE LOVE YOU, KEL! MISS YOU!
