Framed beauty

Hello. Although it's been many days of silence here, I still just don't have much to say. I'm weary. There are hills and vales of undone tasks everywhere I look. And sore tummies tonight, all around. But, again, I don't want to lose the hope of one-way dialogue here on this white board. I'd been thinking of this picture post to fill in until more words come my way and I also have a very practical need of updating/re-arranging my photo sorting processes, so before I delete folders that have been making blogging more confusing, I pulled a selection to post. The below quote helped me pick my assortment. I tried to find the best frames of blooming beauty and ones that I can't devote a whole entry to now because, well, it's 2 or 3 or 4 years later. But I wanted them here. And they are in no order.

I love the below thoughts, but might personally change the couple only words on the first line. Might. And I added the (more) with regard to the trees. Just for disclosure on that :-)

For it is only framed in space that beauty blooms. Only in space are events and objects and people unique and significant--and therefore beautiful. A tree has (more) significance if one sees it against the empty face of sky. A note in music gains significance from the silences on either side. A candle flowers in the space of night. Even small and casual things take on significance if they are washed in space, like a few autumn grasses in one corner of an Oriental painting, the rest of the page bare.
